Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-30 (advertising activation update)

Lazy Workout is a general-wellness iPhone app for adults 18+. This policy describes the English v1.0 app, including optional one-time Lifetime Premium and Progress advertising for free users.

Information used on your device

Lazy Workout saves onboarding and safety acknowledgements, movement preferences, optional saved-plan and reminder settings, an interrupted workout, and completed-session history on your iPhone to provide the features you choose. No app account is required. The app’s advertising-request code does not attach your workout history, energy choices, feedback, or Chair/Bed selection to an ad request.

Advertising

The app includes Google Mobile Ads (13.11.0) and Google’s User Messaging Platform (3.1.0). For free users who have completed onboarding and at least one session, the app may show a single adaptive banner on the Progress screen after consent is handled through Google’s User Messaging Platform when required. Ads are not shown during workouts, onboarding, Finish, Today start controls, or purchase flows. Verified Lifetime Premium removes Progress ads. If consent or ad loading fails, workouts remain available and ads stay off.

Google’s SDK privacy manifests for these versions declare categories that can include diagnostics, coarse location, performance, crash data, advertising data, product interaction, and device identifiers. Those are vendor declarations. We do not select “no data collected” while advertising components can serve.

Purchases

If you check, buy, or restore Lifetime Premium, the app uses Apple’s StoreKit. Apple handles payment and purchase records under Apple’s terms. The app uses verified entitlement status to unlock Premium features (longer sessions, alternate coach, detailed Progress, optional reminders, and ad-free Progress). We may see purchase and sales information Apple makes available to developers in App Store Connect; we do not receive your payment-card details through the app.

Notifications

If you choose Premium reminder scheduling, the app requests notification permission and schedules local reminders for the days and time you choose. You can pause reminders, delete the routine setup, or change notification permission in iPhone Settings.

Retention and control

App preferences and history remain on your device until you change them in the app or delete the app. Device backups and Apple purchase records are managed by Apple. Advertising privacy choices, when required, are available from Settings when Google’s platform marks them as required.

Children and health

The app is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Please do not send private health information in support messages. Movement content is general wellness information, not medical advice.
